The Best Actor Awards was conferred on Mohanlal for his brilliant performance in the movie “Drishyam”. The Best Actress Award was taken by Amala Paul . The Amrita Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to veteran actress Sheela .The entire crowd was up on their feet due to the stunning combination of Shanker Mahadevan and Rimi Tomy who belted phenomenal hits like Mitwa, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, etc. The other award winners were Jithu Joseph ( Best Director), Gopi Sunder (Best Music Director) , Najeem Arshad (Best Male Singer ),Mridula Warrier (Best Female Singer), Jayasurya (Best Popular Actor , Swetha Menon (Best Popular Actress) and New Face Awards to Dhyan Chand and Aparna Gopinath.
The crowd was in splits at the hilarious skits by Suraj Venjaranmoodu and team. The highly interactive Awards nite was hosted by noted anchor,Renjini Haridas and comedy king Remesh Pisharadi.
